did David have a favorite team or favorite teams? If so, did this affect the bounce of the lottery balls when the Celtics lost in the lottery?

Do we know anything about the incoming commissioner? Is he a Celtic fan or hater, will his regime be better for us in the lottery?

Just throwing this out for the 'Tank for Wiggins' crew.

For all the things I don't like about what David Stern has done to the NBA, I'm pretty certain he doesn't manipulate the lottery balls.

Also, keep in mind, it is not just Wiggins next year. There are several highly touted HS players that will likely enter the draft.
Celtics fan for life.

Celtic hater?  Really?

If he was, the C's wouldn't have won ANY championships during his tenure.

THE END.

David Stern is a New Yorker but I don't know about a Celtic hater. But let's say he does hate tha Celtics - would that surprise anyone here?

I do feel he is a bit rogue tho and I think he definitely has more love for tha Knicks, Lakers, and tha Heat than he does for tha Celtics or any other team.

Doesn't manipulate the Lottery Balls---?

They assign Number Combinations to teams--making sure that teams have certain numbers in EVERY combination they have--(Wyc said Number 1 or 2 was in EVERY combination the C's had in 2007)...Then after the Practice drawing---they bring in a LOCKED BOX with New Balls---The Machine blows the balls upwards--meaning Balls #1 & #2 could easily weigh more than the rest.

THIS is how they could fix it---not saying they do every year---but WHY switch the Balls--?

No, I don't believe he is.

David Stern is the man most responsible for the state of the NBA right now, and I say that with respect. He guided the league into the whole world's living rooms, and is a large part of the reason we can watch as much basketball as we can.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.
