It seems like a driving force behind Rondo trade talks is that he has character issues. Exactly what though?
other driving forces are the flaws in his game, and the fact that he can actually net something of tangible value, as opposed to doing a running-in-place kinda trade.
but as for character issues, i think Rondo is more in the mold of Kobe without the media-savvy skills. a surly Kobe is no fun, and that is pretty much who rondo is. He's not a bad guy, but you can see how he can be difficult to deal with (similar to Kobe) even when you're teammates with him. His heart is in the right place but he just rubs guys the wrong way sometimes.
OTOH, KG - who is equally ultra-competitive - knows how to deal with teammates and knows what buttons to push at the right time. He's hard on guys, but he knows how to be hard on guys. It's a skill in itself which i don't think Rondo has.
