Yeah... Bob Ryan's Twitter account hasn't been active in 2 days.

Both tweets are fake.

Don't need to delete the thread, we talk about much faker deals than this.  It's certainly plausible that the teams might look into something like this.

But we should stress that there's no indication anything's "in the works".  I changed the title on my post to reflect it.

Hypothetically, I'd do Lin, Jones and Asik and picks for Rondo and a salary dump.

Rockets center Omer Asik has no interest in backing up or playing next Dwight Howard, according to sources. Could force trade.

The Hawks would listen on potential Josh Smith-to-Houston sign-and-trade proposals, according to sources.

The tweets are prob fake, but I stand by the idea that there is a Rockets deal out there that would potentially make sense for Boston.  The Rockets can absorb some bad salary in a deal and have lots of little assets that could make it worthwhile.

Dear god, I just threw up on my keyboard when I read this...
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

Horford and Asik would be a very tough defensive + rebounding combination.

Rondo for those two guys is a terrible terrible deal. Despite what this fan base wants it really is the worst possibility for Rondo.

I could only imagine how happy every shooter in the league would be to play with those two.  Rip Hamilton in his prime would be a hall of famer

The only way we do a Houston deal is with Parsons involved. And I don't think he's enough. I also can't see Houston getting rid of him.
