Any rumors on Smith or Milsap?

Just wondering. We've been hearing a lot of things about other players, but since they are two of the bigger FA's this year, just wondering if anything as of the last week has been said.

Just curious considering Millsap was suppose to be a top priority for the C's and a couple weeks ago Smith was rumored with a potential trade sheet from the C's if Pierce was traded.

With regards to smith, the C's would have to wait until Atlanta definitely missed on Dwight, since Boston would have to send salary to Atlanta, so they have to wait, and Smith has decided he's comfortable waiting until after Howard.

Milsap is officially not happening, since the Jazz are renouncing him, which will prevent a sign-and-trade.  He'll have to land on a team with cap room.

I may be mistaken, but Utah had to renounce their free agent rights to Millsap so now he can't be a part of a sign and trade. So he can only go to a team that can absorb his salary with cap space.

A lot of people said that on twitter, but since the moratorium is still in place, the trade hasn't actually happened yet. So I believe they should be able to either sign Millsap or sign-and-trade him.

Cool. I didn't hear about the Millsap thing. Kinda crazy, they probably could have gotten some thing good for him.

I was thinking the same about Smith and Atlanta. If they loose on the Howard race then thy probably will go in full tank mode.

I know people aren't up on him, but maybe it will keep Rondo a little happier...
