You know the type that ride up on you in the fast-lane, even though you’re already going a solid 10 mph over the limit? On the highway I'll just move aside and hope they get a ticket, but on a side-street or single lane road, I slow down to mess with them. Am I alone in this?

Nope. I do the same thing. Often ride my brakes for long periods of time to make them even angrier.

No question I slow down. Can't be having some numbskull rear end me because they couldn't keep a safe distance.

If someone tailgates me, I slow down and move to the next lane so they can pass me.

I hate it when people purposely prevent people from passing them, this is why some traffic jams happens!

I put my right blinker on and take a real long while to move over.

More than tailgaters, I hate drivers who drive at the same speed parallel to the car in the other lane. Can you please give cars some room to maneuver?

Thanks

I yawn in such a manner that they see my 21" biceps that usually slows them down.

If someone wants to go faster than me I'll get out of the way once I've passed the car/cars I'm passing.

The left lane is strictly a passing lane but people stay in it for extended periods of time, that's the real problem. People staying over there is what causes traffic jams.

The left lane is the fast lane, so why do people insist on going 10 mph slower than everyone else? Let the cops pull them over if their speeding or being slow excessively. Its just drivers etiquette. If a guy is speeding, and trying to cut you, then I quickly either try to get out of the way. Because, a) if he's reckless, then I seriously don't want to be the one getting hit by him. b) I have stuff to do, the last thing on my checklist for the day is to get in an accident. c) I live in NOVA. Northern Virginia is known for having one of the worst driving next to NY/DC.... d) People who are rude by their drivers etiquette, are people you normally wouldn't want to deal with on a regular normal basis, so I just get out of their way. And move on with my life.

No need to frustrate or p--- them off. People who do things like that have a reckless abandon, and don't mind doing the craziest thing. I've seen a car cut a huge 16 wheeler with almost 3 inches of space, and had an accident occurred. 5 cars behind them would've been screwed.

People nowadays literally have no manner. They don't care that their reckless driving either by speeding, making dangerous cuts or turns, or tailgating.

I think tailgating is absolutely rude, because it makes people unsure of if you'll hit them. I used to brake a lot to tick them off, but no longer do it. Just a waste of my time, and do I really feel happy about myself doing exactly and essentially the same thing their doing?

I don't do it, just poking a bear which can result in aggressive actions that endanger myself.

1. Can continue to tailgate and actually hit me. Even if they're at fault and don't drive off its a huge pain with that will cost me time.

2. Try to pass me on the shoulder or edge of the road, which could again cause an accident, though more likely with someone else than me.

I never speed up. I either ignore or slow down.
