I'll go with 21 pts / 6 rbs / 3 ast / 1 blk / 1 stl.

Jeff is a physical beast and he hasn't played his best ball yet. As noted already, he'll be the primary focus on offense .. . our top option in the LeBron, Melo, Durant, Harden role. He isn't on the level of those players, but he's pretty [dang] good, has incredible tools and seems to finally be putting it all together.

I'm incredibly optimistic about Jeff's future. Next year, regardless of the win totals, will be fun in terms of seeing Jeff improve and mesh with Sully, Bradley, Rondo, Kelly O, etc.

Going off the assumption that JG is our primary scorer and stays healthy, I'll say 20/5 is doable for him.  The Celts still need a real SG though.  And we'll have to see what a Sully/Olynyk frontcourt can do.

Humphries's expiring contract is gonna be our biggest chip come the trade DL, hopefully we can get a lottery pick out of that to go along with our own.

22/8/4/1/1

I expect to see JG's production more in the lines of his playoffs (6 games), but with more FGAs than the 14 he took and possibly more FTA than the 7.5 he averaged in the playoffs.

JG's efficiency will most certainly take a hit next year, but his volume stats will increase.

Last year, JG had a very up and down season, but it really stabilized after January. Despite everything, JG's regular season PPS was something like 1.28 and he elevated that to about 1.42 in the playoffs against the Knicks.

I really think Green is going to take 17-18 shots and get to the line a ton....maybe not make as many 3's, but his overall production is going to go up significantly.

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
I think that Green will suffer being the first option on the team, efficiency wise. Sure he'll put up points, but he'll do so at a less than stellar rate. For his entire career, he's never been overly efficient, or even average.

I say around 20 ppg at a relatively low FG%, maybe 42%-44%.

He really will be our go to go this upcoming year. So I'm going out on a limb and say that Jeff Green will average......

22 ppg. 5 rpg. 3 apg. 36 mpg
Shootinh about 45% from the field.

I think it's due to no real offensive options, except maybe KO and if AB can come on.

First off, I am a huge Jeff Green fan.  'Check my post history.  I've been following him since his Georgetown days.

And I think he is going to be very, very important player for the Celtics going forward.  I think he still has a lot of untapped potential - in all facets of the game.

That said, I see no way he averages more than 18 ppg this coming season.  And that might be hard.

The reason I say that is that Brad Stevens is probably going to bring a coaching philosophy that will amplify the Transition-D-First, Slow-Pace mindset that we've seen in recent years as if it is on steroids.   I will not be surprised to see the Celtics ranked at the very bottom of Pace rankings - the fewest average possessions per game.

So, while I expect Green to continue to be the extremely efficient scorer that he's shown he's capable of this last Spring, and to also assume the mantel as our team's #1 scoring option, I just don't think our team as a whole will be generating a ton of counting stats.

Mark me down for about 18 ppg, 4 assists, 5 rebounds.

I think mmmmm,m is right in terms of what we will see this year in terms of style. I don't think it will be pretty at all this year.

22/7/3

I hope he can improve on his rebounding a tad bit more and more on his assist.

I like what I saw in Green in the 2nd half of the season where he avg 20 ppg and played very good defense

as KG said, he will be one of the best SF of all time when all said and done  ;D

Merged, we had a 3 pg discussion on it before, it'd be nice to put them all in one spot.
