Either of these guys can start at PG until RR gets back.  Both are HIGH ENERGY guys that can then easily transition into RR's backup.

Thoughts??

I am a big Bynum fan, but it will depend what they are trying to do this year. If they go the free agency route I would expect them to go with a big pg who can play with AB. They certainly won't go into the luxury tax to bring in a back up point guard, so it will depend on  how much those guys want.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Pass on both.

I'm not interested in spending resources on players just so we can have someone "until Rondo gets back".

Guards who are not elite defenders like Bradley, and are the same height or smaller than Rondo have shown to be a liability in a Rondo centered roster.

Please, let's stop salivating over small guards regardless of their effectiveness. They just wont do well alongside Rondo.

If the bulls don't keep Nate on their roster this year, then I will be shocked. He was 75% of the reason they got to the second round of the playoffs. He also doesn't mind coming off the bench to chuck up 10-15 shots at a time, which go in a good amount.
Every year there are 6-7 teams with a lower winning percentage than our current record. I think we've gotten so used to ignoring the bottom feeders since 2008 that we've forgotten how bad some teams are.

I think the the Bulls have already parted ways with Nate Robinson. Nate wanted a multi-year contract above the minimum and Chicago weren't willing to give it to him.

Chicago has Derrick Rose coming back next year so they have much less of a need for Nate. They also have Kirk Hinrich sliding back into a bench role + young Marquis Teague as third string as a solid PG prospect.

They weren't willing to invest that type of cash in Nate given their options at PG.

I don't understand the obsession by many on this board with BIG PG's!!  Yes, RR is 6'1", but he has long arms and huge hands, which more than compensate for him allegedly being a short PG in the league.

This made me look it up out of curiosity, and I realized that Rondo's wingspan (6'9") is not even one inch less than Olynyk's (6'9.75").

It's not about him being a short PG in the league, it's about him being a short player guarding SGs in the league because those other small back-up PGs will be forced to guard opposing PGs. That's not a recipe for success.

I'd rather find players who can play point, but can also play alongside Rondo, particularly if we're going to use the few limited resources we have to acquire said player.

The Celtics are trying to shed salary.  Danny's only concern right now is to get rid of Wallace, Lee, and Bass.

Thanks Boris for confirming my point with hard data!!:-))

Therefore, RR can effectively guard shooting guards!!!

Thanks again,
