I know it's probably posted in a bunch of places but I can't find it - can someone please tell me what the "final" version of the trade was?

Was it:

KG, Pierce & Terry
for
Humphries, Wallace, Bogan, Marshon Brooks and three first round picks?

is that the final form?

I believe the Celtics also get the right to swap 2017 1sts with Brooklyn.

Scooby,  I think there is also a trade exception somewhere in the mix under the deal.  Tough to say until after July 12th.

I believe the exception was 7.3 M, which would help land you another pretty decent player.  Extremely useful asset.

If we also have a trade exception for $7.3 million then  that is a very good trade for us overall as we start a true rebuild.

There has to be some sort of trade exception as we're sending 33 million in salary and getting back somewhat less.

Exactly how big of an exception it is, or if its two smaller exceptions depends on the final structure of the deal. (And how much Bogans contract is exactly and how that's counted for the TPE)

another question is what if we do not trade humphries and bogans by the 2014 trade deadline...do we lose their expiring contracts...do they just come off the books...

Humprhies would be gone as he'd be an upcoming FA.

Bogans could be traded after the Finals as he'll have team options and thus isn't a potential FA. (exact same situation as Paul Pierce)

I recall hearing that there would be team options after the first year so that the C's could just let him go to clear his salary.  There's no intention of keeping him longer than they have to.
We'll know more after the deal is complete.

Right sign and trades have to be 3 year deals, but they don't have to be guaranteed beyond the first year.

That definitely means he can be traded after the deadline before his option is due though. Just like Pierce could have been.
