I need this. I live in St. Louis right now, and NBA 2k13 is only gonna keep me satisfied so long.

All NBA Summer League games were broadcast live on NBA TV last year.  I'm sure they'll be doing that again this year.

If you have an iPhone download it in the App Store, NBA Summer league, you can watch all the games on your iPhone free. I just downloaded it. Olynyk to an iPhone near you.

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
I don't think the Celtics are part of the Las Vegas Summer League, though... :'( :'( :'( :'(

Hopefully it will change, or we'll get to see them in the Orlando one.

I think at the time they considered just one summer league they were planning on having an older team of vets.  Times have changed and I wish they would reconsider.

In summation, Celtics will play:

Sunday, July 7th at 11 am
Monday, July 8th at 3 pm
Tuesday, July 9th at 11 am
Wednesday, July 10th at 3 pm

and then again on July 12th in the "Summer League Championship Day" although what time depends on their seeding.

The games will be broadcast live on NBA TV

As I have stated in the Blog elsewhere, the Celtics will be participating in the Orlando Summer League.  Unfortunately, the Orlando games are not open to the public.   I believe they may be shown on NBAtv.    You should be able to find out by Googling  NBA Summer League/Orlando  or  by going to the NBA site.

I saw them at the Las Vegas Summer League the year we drafted BBD...Pruitt was there too, and it was terrific.  I live in Florida and wish we could run over to Orlando to see them, I would be the first in line!

Last year it was a little before, but overlapping the Vegas games by a couple days.  (A few of the unsigned players went directly from Orlando to Las Vegas, playing in both.
Yesterday is history.
Tomorrow is a mystery.
Today is a gift...
That is why it is called the present.

You just have to buy the Summer League Pass and you can watch it on your computer, iPad, or iPhone.  I think it cost me $19 last year.

I really think they thought they would need some time to see rooks but didn't envision having an entire new squad to try and mesh. If they are also using this to scout the coach it woulda helped to see more of him as well. Another hole in the "this was a plan all along" crews boat.

I really wish...since the probability of having inexperienced rooks/invites on the 2nd team this year is higher than last and we went to two Summer leagues. We went to 2 and Europe..am I remembering correct? 3 last year?

Awesome, thanks guys. I just want to see the rooks in action. I hope they get some decent minutes this year. It's a good opportunity to break em in...and a rare opportunity in the NBA.

So everyone knows. Summer league pass for broadband streaming costs $15 and that gives you access to it on your mobile phone, laptop and tablets. You can watch all the games (orlando and vegas) and they are archived for on-demand viewing until 8/13. Should be fun to watch the babies ball.

Anybody know if Summer league can be watched through the NBA Game Time app? If it can I can watch it on my xbox which would be pretty sweet.
