To det: rondo,josh smith
To atl: brandon knight, green, lee
To bos: stuckey, charlie v, atl 1st, det 1st

Bos would do this trade to make full rebuild official. Stuckey and charlie v will provide vet presence while this would be their last year of their contract. So celtics will get great cap flexibility for 2014-2015 season and have a choice to pick a franchise pg or sf or both utilizing our many picks. Lots of nice ones for next year (parker, wiggings, smart, harrison, hezonja).

Atlanta pick would probably end up too high so I can't see them doing it for that return.

From Boston's standpoint... Stuckey and Charlie V are nice expiring contracts... the two firsts are alright (the detroit pick would probably not be in the lotto) ... You'd kinda hope Boston could get more for than that if they are giving up Rondo.  But we probably can't.

Detroit owes a first to Charlotte.  So the absolute earliest that pick would be is 2016.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

To det: rondo, bass,melo
To bos: siva, monroe, stuckey

Separate trade to atl

To det: josh smith
To atl: knight, charlie v, 2 1sts

The only way i see our trade going through is if det also gets josh smith. Monroe, sully, olynyk trio upfront would be interesting to see.  We would have possible pg issues, but we got a ton of future 1sts to fix that via trade or future picks. Rondo one way or the other i see being traded. U prob cant get better than monroe as a return. Some like drummond but apparently he is an untouchable i read

And hearing det is crazy enough to want gay also.

To det: gay
To tor: kcp, bass, lee, fillers

Tor might want to get rid of gays salary after getting a new gm
Detroit could be pretty powerful if all these trades workout

Getting rid of Rondo, Green, and Lee for that?

Might as well downgrade the Celtics to D-League.

Another horrible trade. You severely underestimate the value of Rondo.

That one isn't that bad, given that Monroe is a 23 year old starting center entering his 4th year and coming off of a 16p/9.6r/3.5a season.  Not a great shot blocker, but pretty good hands with 1.3 steals a game. Siva and Stuckey are meh, but at least with that trade Boston gets a real and very strong young player in Monroe and at a position that is the most difficult to fill.

Exactly. But some fans here want michael jordan for rondo. What do they expect back for a guy who is coming back a major injury? Same fans that cried victim to the kg, pp trade when imo we robbed brooklyn with three 1sts

As much as you want drummond, det wants him also. Basically he is considered an untouchable after the season he had.
