For Nets' acquisition of Pierce & Garnett to make perfect sense, they must re-sign Andray Blatche. Deron, PP, KG, Kidd recruiting him hard

Before KG agreed 2 waive no-trade clause, he wanted 2 know 4 sure minutes would be monitored carefully. Hence, importance AB is re-signed

Most players in any professional sport are a lot more mercenary than the fans. It happens.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

It will be a scary thing to see if Blatche gets to learn from KG and gbe able to get that KG passion of playing.

He's talented enough with the ball to begin with, if he somehow leatn and be inspired by KG to play harder, especially on defense, we could be looking at an all star

This makes me a little sick to my stomach.  It would have been nice to have KG tutor Sully, KO, Green, Melo and be barking in their ear to play better d-fence all year.

It will be weird the first time the C's play the Nets at Boston.  I wonder if KG will be able to keep his crazy 'I hate the enemy' game face on with a full house cheering him and seeing Rondo, AB, Green, and whoever is left from the team.  It will be an odd moment.

I don't like Deron Williams.

But there's a lot to root for on this team now that Andray "Great Comeback Story" Blatche looks like he's going back with the Nets.

Screw it. I'm going to say it: Go Nets!

And go Celts!

That Wizards lockerroom was ripe for redemption stories, for sure.

I believe the Nets can just give him a small raise over the minimum he got last year (besides what he's still being paid by the Wiz), so he could be lured to another team by money.

Sad indeed... but some here wanted Blatche last summer, so we would've heard the same if the Cs signed him.

They're professional basketball players, and it will be weird to see KG/PP playing against the Celtics, but hopefully it's just for a season, they get their ring and then come back to the Celtics in coaching roles.

Blatche is a talented basketball player. He can definitely make an impact if the atmosphere is there. Remember how year in and year out a KG-led Celtics team made players look better than they are? It could be like that.

Not sure if that'll be the case, but I do hope they get success. Weird enough, I still see a C looking at KG and PP, so, they deserve a good end to their careers.

I think it will be an emotional game. More so than when Doc returns to play us. I dont think KG will play with that "I hate the enemy" face, but rather the "I want to win" face. He respects Boston and honestly loved playing here. I imagine he and PP with both get a standing ovation at the start and end of the game. I think Boston fans will also understand that chances are, we wont win the game anyway, and dont want to win it. Would it help our pick from them if we won? Maybe. Not much. Its only 4 games.

I'd cheer for KG and PP when they come to Boston!

Is that tweet real?  No, it can't be.  But, man, do I wish it was.  It is just so perfect.  In the same tweet, talking about learning from KG, and getting donuts.  That is Blatche's career.  Dedicate yourself for one minute, and then go get fat the next.

Pretty sure it won't matter how much he is paid this year.  I believe he is still being paid by the Wizards (amnesty), thus any money he makes just comes off the amount Washington owes him.

I imagine the only thing that might sway him was if he was offered a huge contract, which I doubt any team would be willing to offer yet.  'Dre still has some rehabbing to his image to do.

Blatche should stay in Brookyln one more year before moving on.

He hasn't improved enough to strike out on his own yet. He'll fail if he does so now.
