I give up a lot, but no picks...

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=kcxaxy5

First:
Olynyck and Bass to Ok. City  (Ok. could make great use of both)
Perkins and Bradley to Clippers (Doc rejuvenates Perk and Perk can finish games)
Bledsoe and Butler and Ok. City 2014 to Celtics (Bradley and Perk good enough for Doc to give up Bled.)

Second:
Rondo and Fab Melo to Orlando
Oladipo and Glen Davis to Celtics

Celtics:   Bledsoe, Oladipo, Jeff Green, Sully, Glen Davis

bench:  Pressey, Crawford, Lee, N.J. Nets, Iverson, etc....

Infinite picks....

We can't trade with the Clippers until next season, Stern made us agree to it, when we did the Doc deal. Otherwise I doubt we do the Nets deal and instead send KG and Pierce to  LA
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

First, the Clippers have absolutely no need for a bruising center who can't stretch the floor. There's a reason why Lamar Odom and Kenyon Martin have taken sizable minutes away from Deandre Jordan, and there's a reason why they actually have interest in Andrea Bargnani right now.

Second, Rondo is only worth Oladipo and Glen Davis now? I mean, I know Fab Melo is attached, but the kid is an incredibly raw prospect who hasn't gone through significant growth as far as I've heard.

If Oladip doesn't surpass Bradley, then this trade is one of the worst ever.

This trade hopes that Oladipo is a star and a leader...definite gamble.  But I like that it probably gets a nice pick next year...I like the foundation.

Maybe I misread but I wasn't sure if you're saying Fab and Rondo is too much or not enough...?

Oladipo was pegged as one of the SAFEST picks in the draft, but certainly not one with a high ceiling. Of course, analysts can be wrong (and they tend to be more wrong than right most of the times), but I really don't see anything in Oladipo to suggest he'll be a Tony Allen but a better shooter. Unless we're getting multiple first rounders and someone like Harkless in return, Boston is getting ripped no matter how you cut it. If I wasn't clear earlier, I'll say right now that Boston is getting WAY TOO LITTLE.

That seems pretty bizarre.  They should have just outlawed a KG to Clips trade....

Did we commit a crime !!!  ???   :P

First off, we can't trade with the LAC per Stern. Secondly, that Rondo trade is HORRIBLE value for him.

I know his value will go up after establishing health.  And that's a fine option.  This is based on Ainge being in a hurry and on my feeling about Oladipo.  It's a tank trade and if it's really so horrible then we take a first rounder from Orlando in 2014 or 2015.

Yeah.  best to re-establish Rondo first.  But I worry about his health in relation to his body size and mileage.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
The two trades I want, in which I created a separate thread already is to nab LaMarcus Aldridge from Portland and Marcin Gortat from Phoenix.

I think we have plenty enough assets to trade for those two. We will be a 5-3 seed playoff team this year and possible contenders next year once we resign Gortat and if we are smart in drafting and signing some key FA's.
2019 CStrong Historical Draft 2000s OKC Thunder.
PG: Jrue Holiday / Isaiah Thomas / Larry Hughes
SG: Paul George / Aaron McKie / Bradley Beal
SF: Paul Pierce / Tayshaun Prince / Brian Scalabrine
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge / Shareef Abdur-Raheem / Ben Simmons
C: Jermaine O'neal / Ben Wallace
