Should we be interested?  I like Mullens and 4mil seems like a steal for him.  He is better than Bass.

Hasn't shown me anything in his 4 year career to interest me.

I wouldn't say he's better than Bass. Mullens is younger and has more range, but Bass is WAY more consistent and a better defender. $4M is a reasonable price tag for him, but it certainly doesn't scream of a steal. I feel like he'd be an interesting fit on a rebuilding Boston team especially with his ability to stretch the floor as a center, and he's nowhere good enough to mess with our tanking strategy. However, I just don't feel like he's worth looking into, especially taking into consideration his overall growth as a player so far in four years.

I have to admit, I don't watch many Bobcat games... two in fact, one when they play the Celtics at home and one when they play the Celtics on the road.  I remember him tearing us a new one the first time we played them last season though.

*edit* After looking it up, it was the second game.  He went 10-16 for 25 points and pulled down 18rebs.  No wonder I remember him being good.

He sucks, he simply had a good game against us. Nothing more.

Seems like lots of marginal players have had career games against us recently: Mullens. Copeland....we got pick and rolled to death by crappy players, time and again.

Won't miss that stuff.

You'd think a 7 foot Bass would be good but without a heart, Bass is half the man he is. Mullens is a 7 foot Bass with no heart.

Now that we have the Klynyk, I have no interest in Mullens.
