Its supposed to be a loaded draft with several potential franchise builders, so why so do the pro-tanking folk seem to tack only about Wiggins?

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
Well, it's kinda like 2003.

There's Wade, Melo, Bosh, among others. Then there's Lebron James.

Naturally, people would rather have James over anybody else because he's a lot better. Lebron was hyped way more than anybody else because of his freak athleticism and already polished game. That's the same case for Wiggins.

Hopefully I'll believe the media hype if we ever land Wiggins...

The hype may point at Wiggins, but  in the class 2003, the first ring went to Wade, not Lebron for all his extra talent. Even then it was because a really smart Miami management moved in on an angry Shaq to get the championship roster as much as it was Wade. There is so much more to winning rings than simply grabbing the No. 1 pick in a deep draft and letting nature take its course.

yes, so true. end of the day, teams still win championships. Of course, a team with stars surrounded by solid role players generally does better than a team that features only role players. :P

First ring went to Darko.  That means we should draft Dario Saric with the number 2 pick to win a ring!

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
He's supposed to be the next best prospect since LeBron, so there's that massive hype in which I think he's living up so far.

I for one though, would rather have Julius Randle. That kid is special. I would trade anybody and anyone not named Rondo or Green for the chance to acquire this kid. His skill set is is just out of this world, physical and crafty. Tons of upside. Definitely a top three pick.
