With the roster as it is, what are some things you feel could go terribly wrong?

1. More injuries. I suspect Sully and Rondo will take their time getting back, but the injury bug has been vicious to us. I'd hate to see a guy like KO actually contribute and then get injured a la Sully or even one of those guys get re-injured.

2. Rondo "comes back down to Earth"...people have always felt that Rondo gets the stats he gets cuz he has played with 3 HOFers. It'd be nice for him to prove them wrong, but I wonder, if it's possible? It'd also be awful because his trade value would go down.

3. AB/Lee's shooting woes continue. Who wants that? I always felt like AB suffered the most when Rondo went out because their complimentary...AB was shooting 40% from 3 and almost 50% from the field 2011-2012. We could also use Lee's shooting.

4. Jeff Green. As a JG fangirl, I want nothing poor to happen to him.

5. We get an awful, awful coach.

What can you add?

I was thinking about putting "making the playoffs" on the list, but I'm no proponent of tanking and would be excited with overachieving.

but

i get your point.

That's basically the ONLY thing that can go wrong.  TP

2) Danny can't parlay Humpty-Humps contract or the trade exception into worthwhile assets.

Ainge loses his mind and cashes in most of his assets to pick up a mediocre player like Big Baby or Sebastian Telfair.

I don't think you have to worry about Rondo. I think that if he's healthy he'll make anybody he plays with look better...and I'm not really a Rondo fanboy. My concern with Rondo is whether he'll stick it out, like Paul did, or ask for a trade.

Winning games is good for the players *on* the team, but maybe bad for the future of the team.

Oh, and injuries are always a worry.

1. Ainge trades our available assets for players like J Smith or Al Jefferson that makes a 5 seed in the East and puts us in NBA purgatory.

2. They win.

1.  The fan base of the most storied franchise in sports rooting for losses.

DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

My biggest fear is we tank but still end up with squat.

We don't have an Al Jefferson to help parlay into a real team, so the above scenario is highly likely.

with multiple draft picks and Ainge's more or less good ability to draft, we may end up with our new Al Jefferson in 2014 even if we miss out on the big prize. I mean, didn't we draft Big Al in 2003, the year of Lebron/Melo/etc.?

Big al was 2004 in the Dwight draft.

If we have the worst record then the worst we can do is pick 4th which means Marcus smart might be the caliber player you're looking at.

Before I joined I used to like your comments. Love the name too.

I would imagine that gathering assets and shining a light on talent already under wing in the belief that ANOTHER G.M is gonna gamble on the mighty pingpongs and give US dollars on pennies value wise is the 1st option for 2014. Wyc is a business man. He bought the other title. He's gathering Basketball bullion to do it again.

Worst case scenario they gotta watch a machine decide a storied franchises fate...I do not think that is the 1st option
