He shot 38% from three last year and just 37% on all jump shots.

His problem is that he was awful on his two point shots, probably around 36%.

He shot 38% from three last year and just 37% on all jump shots.

His problem is that he was awful on his two point shots, probably around 36%.

And that was an atypical percentage for him, looking at previous seasons.  So, it is an open question as to whether 2012-2013 was an anomaly or the start of a trend.  He's old enough to be starting to decline, but young enough that he could bounce back.

Roster balance, chemistry (don't like the idea of Humphries in the locker room), and I'd rather have Gordon's Bird Rights than Humphries' for trading purposes next offseason (assuming Gordon finishes the season on the C's roster).

I like Ben Gordon BUT that would make us guard heavy.

Not to mention I am a little bummed that we didn't get Reggie Evans in the Nets deal.

Oh well.

I still think having Ben Gordon would be cool.

I still remember the shoot-outs he had vs Ray Allen in the playoffs back in 2009.

Bogans isn't a chucker.  Sure, 86% of his shots were threes last season, but he takes very few shots.  He's your prototype 3-and-D wing who can be a useful bench player.  I wouldn't mind having Bogans around if I had a young wing I wanted to bench to make a point, so I can have an example of the defense and discipline I want to teach to the young player.

Guy was totally miserable playing for a high school coach in the worst org in the NBA.

Statistics aside, he's still pretty lethal, especially with a hand in his face. I think if you surveyed NBA players on top pure shooters in the league, he'd be high on the list.
