Whether it is a horrible trade or not, hard to say, given the three first rounders we will get. However, my 19-year-old son and this 57-year-old guy are completely heartbroken tonight. We had season tickets since he was 6 and we gave them up at the end of the season. He is heading off to college and I am heading to spending more time watching college sports and cheering for the Nets to win it all next year. Other than wondering how much Rondo is going to pout next year to try to get traded out of town, and maybe watching Sully get better, I am not sure how much I will want to watch this team next year. Hope the draft picks will work out, but this team next year will be unwatchable.

Lakers fan?  Their future looks way more bleak than ours.

My dog just hung himself.  He fashioned his noose out of Beggin Strips and broken dreams.  Also my goldfish seems to be swimming more listlessly.  Danny u r a monster.

I personally LOVE the moves Danny made today.

-Drafted a scoring big in Olynyk.

-Sent the old geysers packing to Brooklyn for some new, exciting talent in Wallace, Humph, Evans and a handful of 1st rd picks.

I mean did anyone else not see how awful the Celtics played down the stretch this past season?

Anyway, I am excited for a new start.

Going to turn 50 soon and don't have the best of health records so I can't help think, have a seen my last Celtic Championship? I also am just heartbroken with this Florida Marlins like fire sale for future picks that somewhere way down the line might finally own out as the next Celtic great that brings a championship.....maybe.

Right.

KG is 37 yrs old with bone spurs in his ankles, can't play a full season and likely only has 1-2 years left.

Paul Pierce looked absolutely cooked in the playoffs this year.

Jason Terry?? Hmmmm....not even going to touch this one.

Seems to me like I am totally in touch with reality.

Perhaps some are letting nostalgia and past accomplishments cloud their judgment?

here's reality...wallace...7.7 points on 39%...kg and pierce are both better than wallace on  1 leg...and...wallace is the best player in the deal...get a grip...

Your son or you?

This was going to happen by next year, or the year after. At least we get two pick next year. Bundle them up for either a player or a higher pic.

If 2016 or 2018 pics are unprotected they could be very useful as well.

If you let PP and KG walk you just get one pic. You do realize the next three years the C's get two first round pics?

The rebuild was going to happen. You weren't going to get anything better than that trade. Yeah the players aren't anything to write home about, but those pics...Wow...That will get you some thing. Wallace could be used as either trade bait for a fringe team or salary dump. Or he finds his nitch this year behind Green and is a good, yet expensive back up 3.

It sucks, I'll miss those guys, I wish them the best, root for them to win one final ring, but Im also looking forward to the future and what could happen. Maybe not next season future, but the next few years could be interesting...
