Actually, DA got us that title right after the 24 win season by using assets to land two superstars.

Funny how this trade is going to net us assets. People just can't look further than next season and assume we'll be awful forever.

Funny how this trade is going to net us assets. People just can't look further than next season and assume we'll be awful forever.

Well, some of us think that the supposed assets this trade will potentially get us are crap, and won't help us nearly as much as other people seem to think. I personally think this is not an ideal trade for a rebuilding team. It saddles us with bad contracts and doesn't even give us a decent pick. I know that multiple bad picks can be packaged, but that is by no means a guarantee.

I think the path Danny is taking is high risk, high reward. Maybe it will turn out well, but it is just as likely it turns out terribly.
