Perkins trade was a good thing. He aint doing much in OKC.

Draft picks have actually been pretty good. Big Al, Jeff Green, Sully, Tony Allen, etc.

Doc leaving was actually good riddance. He should have never signed him to the big deal unless he was trying to use him for assets

Letting KG and PP go for assets will be a pretty good move even if it not very popular. They do not really have the gas in the tank necessary to lead a team physically like we want them to. They will be better on teams that need them in supporting roles.

Rondo should not be cradled. He should be brought in and asked if he is going to be a loyal soldier, if not then I suggest he should be shipped out.

why are you mad? Danny is a great GM, he landed us a championship, and 2 NBA finals appearance and 3 Conference Finals appearance. I don't see the problem. We are rebuilding, and if you're not willing to sacrifice, you're not going anywhere. I don't see many GMs going out there being aggressive in the market like Danny has. He is racking us a lot of first round picks for a rebuild project. People are bringing up the Bobcats, well are the Bobcats bringing in 4 first round picks from other teams?

If this trade goes through, it will give us 3 more picks...

our rebuild starts now, and we already have some assets.

If Rondo stays, our rebuild will be easier, if he is gone, that's maybe another pick or two.

Your reasoning is why I think he is the best GM in the league.
-Perk is nothing in OKC - Jeff Green is really good, if Curley stayed it would have been a steal.
-He is one of the best in picking players out of the draft.
-When your at the cap, what big FA do you want?
-Doc is overrated. Doc wanted to go. Danny wanted to keep him. I like to see a real x's and o's coach.
-4 1st round picks and a bunch of contracts that they can ditch next year.
- Rondo wanting out is a rumor, Did Danny draft him at 21. Hopefully when he comes back we will have a running team.

DA just got 4 1st round picks (3 unprotected) for 2 players and a coach. Not bad IMO. Yes, it hurts to see Doc go, KG go, and kills me to let Paul go but were they really gonna compete? If you are honest with yourself the answer was no.

Danny has done really well with the assets he's acquired for senior citizens in the NBA and a great motivator in DOC but a guy I felt who's message went stale this past year.

It painful to see KG and PP go, but I think ainge also thinks of their best interest as well. The Celtics will not be contenders this season. With the Nets they will be.

We are in the rebuilding phase, we can't hang on to KG and PP forever.

Pretty soon the way this is going, the entire Celtics organization will just be some ordinary people walking around and talking in their facilities. All other important FO members and players were fired due to fan revolt.

They would have to make sense for that to happen or the organization to listen, currently that is not a problem.

Ainge has something the poster do not a track record of success.  A championship, I bet some of the poster have never won anything at any level.

We got back Green in the Perkins trade. We won that trade EASILY.

Ainge has been one of the best drafters, and that's not even taking into consideration how low the draft picks were.

Doc forced himself out, he didn't want to rebuild.

I think Ainge has shown to be a very competent GM and I wouldn't fire him. However, what he's done so far this offseason has really made me nervous. We've been rumored to have a S&T in place with Josh Smith should we clear the cap space, and Josh Smith is not an ideal piece to bring in during a rebuild. And now we have this whole Brooklyn fiasco on the table? Yuck.
