This move is genius on Dany's part.

Danny is too impatient to enjoy standing pat. I am sure these past 6 years has killed him since he basically had a contender every year and thus couldn't wheel and deal. I expect him to be involved in a lot of deals going forward.

He is free and on the loose! No wonder he couldn't wait to rebuild, making deals is what he lives for.

Who else thinks we're flipping Reggie Evans to a contender?

The Heat could sure use him. So could OKC.

Wallace was a star back when he was playing for a crappy team, so he is a pretty good chance of being good next year.

Little more info. IMO, not real enticing

This makes sense. RT @ChrisMannixSI Nets, Bobcats discussed Humphries/Ben Gordon swap last summer. Could still be on the table.

I'm still not convinced about that Nets roster.

Obviously the offseason has just started, but with what they have now they dont have much depth behind a 37 year old Garnett and 36 year old Pierce.

If Garnett and/or Pierce break, that 2014 pick could be better than we think.

I would love that. Ben Gordon is an expiring contract too. Move out Humphries and open up that big man rotation. Ben Gordon as sixth man and main bench scorer. Fantastic.

I am disappointed by reports that Kris Joseph has been swapped into the deal and Toko Shengelia excluded.

Going out: Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, Jason Terry

Coming in: Gerald Wallace, Kris Humphries, Tornike Shengelia, Reggie Evans, Keith Bogans (via sign and trade), an unnamed minimum salary player, and 3 first round draft picks (2014, 2016, 2018)

Update: the Celtics will get Kris Joseph (that unnamed minimum player) and also the right to swap picks in 2017.

I'd be so much happier with Ben Gordon than with Humphries. Like, a million times happier.

Now, there's no team out there that Ainge might possibly flip Gerald Wallace to, is there?

Tired of small ball?

We can now literally run a lineup of 5 PF/C's.

Out of these 8 guys there are three that I would put in the decent category, while the rest go in the unknown, scrub or forget about it category. By the way, you guys forgot Evans, so 4 out of 9 are decent.
