Are you sure you want Rondo and Humphries in the same locker room?
Everyone wants truth on his side, not everyone wants to be on the side of truth.

I doubt Rondo ever steps foot in that locker room again.

With you 100 percent, Roy. You can bet that Rondo's agent is already asking for a trade.

I did look at him...he is nothing more than an expiring contract. He will be gone with all the other pile of rubble

Now that the spurs assistant has been hired by the sixers...just make this team even worse by hiring del negro

I don't think rondo makes it out if the summer.

Before this season, Gerald Wallace was a really fun player to watch. He's certainly not worth his contract, but if he can pull a Wade and show some flashes of Crash in Boston I'll be pretty stoked.

Yeah and don't forget, maybe Wallace just had an off year. But like yourself, I've always liked Wallace's game as I think he's a very tough defender. Also another thing getting lost in all this is getting Reggie Evans.

A tough defending big! What's there not to like?

I say a line up of Rondo, Bradley/Lee, Green/Wallace, Humph/Sully, Evans/Olynyk is going to be a very fun lineup to watch.

Well, if that's the case, then I just have one word for Rondo: Sayonara. I am personally going to enjoy watching this team next year.

This team is going to be horrible to watch. No scoring. No shooting. 2 guys coming off major injuries. The only fun thing to watch will be humphries, bogans, etc getting traded. Danny does not give a crap about next year on the court. He wants to just get it over with

Yeah, fun. Green would be your only go-to scorer and would have to carry the team unless A few other guys can step up. Wallace back to all-star form?  Hmm. Sully? Lee?  I think we have to resign ourselves to it being a bad team offensively.

Defensively though you got Rondo, Bradley, Wallace, Evans. Not bad.

Evans is a terrible defender.  He rebounds, but that's the only thing he does.  Wallace has lost about a half-dozen steps on defense, as well.

I challenge the proposition that that lineup would in any way be "fun" to watch.  It seems painful to watch to me.  Plus you forgot Bass which adds to the horror.  This team is going to be worse than Pitino years bad.  We don't even have flexibility to do anything money wise since we took on two contracts worse than the ones we dealt.

Horrid trade.

Even doc said it.. It was a good deal for the celtics....not next year but down the road. Next year is decided. Expiring contracts for marginal to poor players. Then you clean that junk out and build through the draft around the core few. Cutting the out the infection that are the nets players can't happen soon enough. They are a virus

There is no redeeming factor on offense or defense by adding what the nets are sending.

maybe we will trade Rondo to Brooklyn once he shows he is healthy for their point guard and number one picks in 2020 2022and 2024. Why risk a better shot at top pick in 2014 if rondo plays to good :P

At least I won't be hitting refresh button a million times per day anymore on my favorite site..

We might not like what has happened today but we might be pleasantly surprised by what might happen in the coming years..here is to no stern in the ping pong ball room and to kg not helping doc...here is to also hoping brooklyn sweeps the clippers in finals after beating heat in 7 games with a last second miss by allen....

thank you to pierce and kg for giving us amazing memories and seeing your numbers retired on rafters..you were both nothing but classy, passionate Celtics and we will miss your fire and spirit
