I like it, even if we can't swap for Smith as well. It'd be awesome if we could.

Rondo/TWill
Bradley/Lee
Green/Wallace
Smith/Sully
Evans/Melo

I'll take that ANY day. I love that roster. Probably the greatest defensive team ever.

Me too! Am I the only one elated to be moving on from KG, Doc, Pierce and Terry?

"Elated"?

Yeah, what did those bums ever do for us, anyway?

Terry, I'll give you.  I'm surprised that any Celtics fan is gleefully celebrating that we'll no longer get to watch Pierce and KG, though.
I'm with you on that sentiment.  I root for the team but it'll be hard to see KG and especially PP playing on a different team next year.  throw in the fact that we're not reloading with good talent, just bodies that don't figure to be any good, and next year will really suck to watch them.  it's not like when they had the youth movement and they tried to win and you could watch improvement.  this team will now have a plethora of stiffs that only figure to get worse with time   :-\

Recycled information with no substance from the our old friend  A. Sherrod. There is no deal until KG says so, and I doubt KG has given any indication just yet... in fact, I wouldn't expect one any time soon, but we'll see.

Edit: Looks like I spoke too soon... KG seems to have agreed.

Man, Chris Humphries in a Celtics uniform.  :'(  Man, Gerald Wallace, who cannot shoot anymore, has completely lost his confidence, and looked like he aged 10 years last year.  :'(  Who the hell is going to want to watch this wretched collection next year?

Because for me, it was time to move on. The brand of Celtic basketball that we were seeing toward the end of this season and going into the playoffs was awful. I am judging Pierce and KG for their current abilities, now what they were able to do 5 years ago.

Prediction:  The brand of Celtics basketball we'll be seeing going forward will be much more awful.

My prediction: We see a more exciting Celtics team which will be tougher and more fun to watch than a team of old guys taking nights off while limping into the playoffs with a 7 seed and then laying an egg vs the Knicks.

Yeah. You "get it" and deserve TPs for days. Unreal how bad that trade is. Makes a nauseating pick look so-so.

So what do we actually get in the final deal? Wallace, Humphries, 2014, 2016, and 2018 Nets 1st rounders. Who are the other players we are getting? Do we get Brooks and Teletovich?
