If the said trade exception from PP plus maybe picks and at most one of Bradley, Sully or Lee can land us LeMarcucs Aldridge, then KG stays for one more round, we are a serious Dark Horse team on the level of the 2011 Mavs

hopefully hes cool with us rebuilding too

If we had Rondo, Green and Aldridge we'd be done with our rebuild.

Yeah we'd be locked in for years of second and 3rd round exits :P. Seriously though he'd get us to the play-offs, but we'd still need a piece or two before we could really compete with the big dogs. Definitely a very good start to a rebuild, getting him to buy in would be the problem though.
Not necessarily.  Two allstars who are unselfish and play defense is something not many teams have.  I think that's a great starting point, then you begin to fill in the blanks.  I wouldn't mind flipping Green for someone who is more of a competitor, though.

3rd round is the conference finals. We'd have probably been that far this year with a healthy Rondo. Adding Aldridge would hopefully make us at least a little bit better.

I think Portland should be able to talk Aldridge around and keep him in Portland for now.

Buy themselves a year or two to get their house in order.

Josh Smith (PF) would be excellent alongside Aldridge (C).

I don't think Portland is really ready to contend this year. If they could get some good pieces for Aldridge maybe a high pick this year or a pick next year I think it wouldn't be a bad idea.

For example the package the Cavs offered the Wolves for Love might make sense for Aldridge ( it might have to be scaled back because Aldridge isn't as good as Love) but if they could get Tristan Thompson and a pick that would make sense to me)
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Would we really, from Aldridge's perspective?

Is Rondo / Green / Aldridge really better than Lillard / Matthews / Batum / Aldridge?

Perhaps.  Rondo is a more proven player than Lillard.  But I'm not sure Alridge would really see it that way.

I think that's what they'll do, too early to give in to a disgruntled talent like Aldridge.

LMA is one heck of a PF.  We don't see him much since he's out west in a small market, but he's as good as anybody at the PF spot (more or less).

Portland has very good pieces in their starting lineup, but has absolutely zero bench.  I'm pretty sure no bench player scored over 7ppg last season for them.  That's tough.

I would absolutely do the trade above.  I think that Portland will be able to get more of a proven prospect than those picks we are offering.  Heck, they could probably get Cleveland's #1 and #19 pick for Aldridge, which I think would be a good move for both teams.

LMA is signed through 2014-2015.  I would expect Portland to try to put together a team for next season that will convince him to stay.  If their season goes bad, I can see them trying to move him by the trade deadline.  Otherwise, I would see a deal as coming after the draft lottery when teams know where they are picking for 2014.

Trade #10 for Marcin Gortat.

Lillard
Mathews
Batum
Aldrige
Gortat

Pretty solid starting 5 and can use free agency to address the bench a bit.
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

Eh....maybe...not that sold on him, if he was anything he wouldn't have to want out of Portland to make noise....don't think he's even Chris bosh

Wouldn't work, because Aldridge refuses to be a Center, hence why Hickson was a Center.
