A Nerlens Noel/Anthony Davis frontcourt would be interesting.

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson

Idk depending on the pick if it is top 3 protected i would do it if i were the Pelicans. You could have Davis and Noel for the future. Then if you get a top 3 pick next year a stud there. Interesting move for the Hornets if they do this.

No way should New Orleans give up a 2014 pick unless its lottery protected, probably for a few years.

Next year's draft has more elite talent than the top 3 though, protection would have to be stronger.

What do the Cavs need Vasquez for?!

I'm guessing they'd flip him in another deal.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Bad trade for New Orleans when they have so many holes, and there is every likelihood the 6th player might turn out as good as the 1st, especially if Bennett Oladipo or McLemore fall.

Dont like that trade for either team. Irvings got the PG spot locked up for them for years. Adding a number 1 pick like Len or Noel no matter how weak the draft is, would be a huge addition for them.

Maybe they like Vasquez as a shooting guard.  Could he function as a Sixth Man of the Year candidate combo guard behind Irving and Waiters?  Or they could be planning on shopping Waiters and starting Irving and Vasquez the way the Knicks started Kidd and Felton together.

It's clear the cavs want wiggins next year, and just want to tank this year. If im New Orleans btw i take this in a heart beat, Noel and Davis front court. Could be a good rebuild.
