I thought sending Pierce to the Cavs was a stretch .. . but the PELICANS! I couldn't picture it. I'd rather see that big $$$ going to Smith than Gordon. We do need a scorer though. Hopefully Courtney Lee and Bradley dramatically improve their scoring if they're on the C's this upcoming season.

They could also trade for Pierce, cut him and then save themselves a boatload of money.
