It's early but if I had to put money down, I'd bet that KG winds up in Golden State.  They're a title contender in California and they could easily offer up a very attractive deal of Biedrins, Ezeli and a 1st for KG.  Biedrins deal expires after next year and while Ezeli is coming off a knee injury, he's still on his rookie deal and who really cares how good we are next season?

I think the Lakers are most likely.  As part of a sign and trade with Howard going somewhere.  That gets him to LA, where he wants to be, and he is a good fit for them.

Name one team where Garnett is a bad fit.

I think it depends on how the FA market plays out this offseason.  If Dallas or Houston can't get CP3, DH or Josh Smith, I could see one of them trying to get KG -- particularly Dallas to pair KG with Dirk and Marion.  Not sure Houston thinks it can contend with KG considering what they'd have to give up.

Well, I think young teams wouldn't make much sense.

But, the important part of what you quoted is that KG wants to be in LA.

Keep KG and PP for reduced salary. This is important

Wouldn't a KG-Howard frontcourt be preferable to the Lakers? Wondering if Pau might be the guy the Lakers want to trade for Garnett.

I'm not sure Ainge would want to take Pau back, unless he's not only planing on keeping Pierce for next season but then resigning him to let him retire a Celtic.  Maybe a third team can take Pau and send a pick to Boston.

I'm pretty sure KG and Duncan could resolve any differences, especially after Splitter's pathetic peformance during the playoffs.

I think a Pierce trade to LAL is more likely than KG.  A World Peace, filler, 2015 unrestricted first makes some sense for both teams.

Garnett, Bradley, Jordan Crawford to Lakers for Gasol and Steve Blake.

Then, if the Celts can land Josh Smith from a Pierce TE, you've got a younger but very productive front court of Gasol and Smoove.
