It would be fantastic if all of this got settled over the next day or two.

No more dealing with non-stop trade rumours all summer. Have a clear and concise view of the roster and what to expect next year. No more uncertainty.

I think it would be great to get all this nonsense out of the way as quickly as possible.

I completely agree.  I'd be shocked if that's how it plays out, though.
I am clearing my schedule to sit and watch the draft tomorrow night.  the trsdes will be flying as team jockey for 2014 picks and 2015 free agents.  Will the Celtics participate?  I sure hope so.  Ready (I dare say "excited") to move on.

We've known this day was coming...  I just wish we'd managed to go out with a little bit more of a bang.

I have a feeling that something huge is gonna go down this off season. New coach, new team leader, new direction, and it won`t be tanking.
I think we'll all be shocked when Danny trades out of this draft entirely and on Friday morning wake up to discover that Pierce and all the rest of the gang are still on the roster.  Some will be shocked and happy, some will be shocked and outraged.

Or maybe not...  ;D

i am kind of expecting Danny to break up that trade exception and use some of it plus lee's contract to pick up Josh Smith and another portion of it plus another salary to pick up Al Jefferson.

Wiggins could be a franchise altering player.  The others may be good, may not, who knows.

Either way, odds are slim we get any of them ever.

You can't combine a trade exception with contracts or other trade exceptions.

I'm pretty excited for the new era.

I hope it's one where t he team shows up to play every night.

I hope it's one where we don't have tens of millions in cap space "resting" during games.

Pierce has to go.  He's a $15M version of an old Grant Hill, a reliable, efficient role player.  That's MLE talent, not max talent.

As much of a pleasure it is to watch KG play, he needs to come off the bench and play his 5 minute spurts around quarters and the end of the 4th; we can't keep putting our bench against opposing starters.

I'm looking forward to the next era quite a bit.
