Can't imagine Kevin Love not playing in Boston at some point. If your life depended on it, wouldn't you guess he will be a Celtic someday?

What if Fab Melo is so awful that he can't even crack the rotation on a tanking team?

I wonder if one or more personality traits are encompassed by a majority of posters here. I can imagine all of us have a sprinkle of narcissism, but I'm going with being very low in agreeableness (5 factor model of personality).

Realistically, of all the free agents out there through 2015, none will likely make us a contender. If our best options are Josh Smith, DMC, Millsap, or Jefferson, I don't think there's a snowball's chance in Georgia. Eventually, we will need to trade for someone another team is not trying to "get something for, since they're going to walk anyway."

Rondo is either going to be incredible or suck horribly the next two years. In my uneducated opinion, he can only be one or the other -  nothing in between - it's just the way he is put together.

I wonder if Pierce wants to play out his contract somewhere else. You'd assume he wants to stay or play for a contender... but what if his preference is to collect his 15 mil in Cleveland? We don't know the guy... (well, maybe some of you fanatics do, and he just doesn't know about it   :P ).

How does Tommy feel about all of this? My brother pointed out that Tommy is such a devoted fan he may just go on supporting whoever we bring in and continue to wildly overestimate their talent. But then a sinking feel kicked in... what if he retires too?

Tommy, to invoke a cliche, is the embodiment of Celtics Pride. No way he bails on the franchise.

The dude has seen a lot of players come and go over the 17 championships he's seen, coached, and officially-capacitated in.

Re Kevin Love--I basically have him penciled in for the Lakers due to his apparent enjoyment of SoCal if the TWolves don't improve.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.
