Brian Shaw's agent confirms to the @BostonGlobe that Shaw is interested in Celtics' job but hasn't been contacted yet.

I think at this point Brian is interested in any coaching job right now. I wonder what direction Ainge is wanting to go.

Seems hard for Danny make moves before the roster shakes out and he knows for sure how much of a rebuild he has on his hands.

I am not sure Ainge would want to rebuild around the triangle offense.

I doubt it will be Shaw after what he did to Celtics in the past. Instead of playing for his signed contract he went to Italy to avoid living up to his agreement.

I think this week will really tell what direction the team will go in. I don't see any coaching hires till mid July.

If its a tank season bring in the hot dog vender, pay him 500 grand ad cross fingers for a top 3.

THEN hire a good coach. Don't do it after a blow up.

But if DA can pull off, a quality SG, and a Smith or Millsap along with Jordan. I say bring him in and see what happens.

From what I understand a deal hasn't even been sent to the league yet for Doc. Still working on the deal. So maybe it's just a matter of time before they start looking at candidates.

According to Jackie MacMullen (via ESPNRadio this afternoon) the leauge has approved the deal to release Doc from his contract for a first round pick.

But yes the C's are probably just now going through the process of getting candidates lined up.

Not with Rondo certainly.

I like Shaw and know he came from under Phil and that LA triangle offense, but is that what he's set on running? Who knows he doesnt want to work to what strength the guys that he has? Is that what Indiana ran the triangle offense?

He's been around enough that he should be able to put in place a number of different systems, just depends on what he believes in.

Agreed who knows he can be our next Doc with the team through the rebuild and bad times, and may prove himself to be a top coach when we are able to truly contend again

She's reported its been approved, that's all I got. Others are saying it hasn't been submitted yet.

Different leaks for different coasts I guess.
