LOL.

We will see just how good of a coach Doc thinks he is with the staff he takes to Clipper land. Will he surround himself with protégés he can teach, or is he going to get seasoned experts that will help cover his flaws as a coach?

Will be interesting. I just don't think the guy is a good coach.

Whoever the Celtics get as coach

I hope it is a coach that truly bleeds Celtic Green.

I hope it is a coach that truly wants to be in Boston.

I hope it is not a coach that thinks he is doing the team a favor because the job takes him away from his family.

I hope it is a coach that really needs the job because he is not independently wealthy.

I hope it is a coach who does not fashion himself a celebrity and seeks airtime that should belong to his players.

I hope it is a coach that can actually coach.

I live in LA and the Radio here is already abuzz with how legitimate this hire makes the Clippers. Of course it does, anytime you can pull a coach from the most storied franchise in the NBA you must be legitimate. That is what Celtics did for Rivers they made him legitimate. Lets see if he deserves it, because the rebuilding job he did not want may be waiting for him in LA.

Doc Rivers = fools gold.

You think Doc will rely on CP3 to create by himself as much as Vinny did?

I don't think he will, but who knows.

there is a reason CP3 wants Doc. He sees the way the ball is totally dominated by Rondo in Doc's system. CP3 will own the ball in LA under Doc.

Doc's system has varied from year to year, and really isn't PG dominant, not when he's had other talented scorers.

He didn't have Rondo dominate the ball as much as he did this year the prior 2 years for example.

We get it. You don't like Doc Rivers. You didn't need to create 5 threads on how much you don't like Rivers/Ainge. Bottom line is I could care less if the dude "bleeds green" provided that he wins and develops the young talent. Are you going to bash Pierce and KG too? As far as the Paul "Iso" Doc is a good gameplanning coach. He'll find a way to play to CP3's strengths.
