take it for what its worth, but a friend of mine saw coach cal and ainge at the prudential together today.  doesn't mean anything, i know, but who knows. 

personally, id pass on cal.

Yeah I'm not sure I'd have a Pitino feeling about him. Great great college coach. Don't know about the NBA. Could be wrong though

Why would a rebuilding NBA franchise hire the most high profile coach (read: expensive) in the NCAA?

They wouldn't.  We'll bring in some cheap company man who doesn't mind throwing games and playing underdeveloped young players major minutes.

I actually would really like coach Cal. All his players play hard and he plays at a fast pace. Those are essentially the only two things I care about in a coach.
