Like imagine if the league actually approves a KG for DeAndre deal... and then Chris Paul goes and signs with Dallas.

KG probably retires end of season.   Clippers completely fall apart.  That 2015 unprotected pick would be gold.

I was talking about this earlier. Thing is the C's would be better off if KG didn't go over. Jordan makes them worse with out CP3.

I could see DA in his office draft night this just the lamp on saying...Exxccceeelllleeennnttt....Mr. Burns style...

KG makes the better... this upcoming year.  Although that would be negated if Chris Paul wasn't there... even if Bledsoe moves into the starting spot.

But if CP3 wasn't there... KG probably doesn't stick around for the 2014-15 season.  It would be Blake Griffin by himself... and we have their 2015 unprotected pick

We can dream... but with his knee he is taking the money and not chancing that he can make it back in a new deal. I could see an opt-out after three years though to align himself with Doc.

What would be even better is that Wiggins decides to stay for two years and the Clips land the #1...I would laugh my butt off from the lotter selection to draftnight!

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
Wouldn't it be even more hilarious if they sucked again? And Blake Griffin left? And in 2015 we'd have a top 5 draft pick?
I like Marcus Smart

Let's all hope that this happens! I'm all for it!

Someone better write this in stone right away before we jinx this. I'd love a top 5 pick.

I'd be ok with it. And wouldn't rule it out. You never know with these stars.

Agreed. Doc going to the Clippers doesn't guarantee CP3 re-signs. He has a lot of options. Dwight Howard is still a possibility, and we all know these two want to team up.

I'm hoping us Celtics fans stick with the team through ups and downs, and here's to Fun / Unpredictable 2013 - 14 season!

I know I'll be watching!

Griffin's first year of an $18M/year extension kicks in next year, he's there for four/five years.

But I don't think he would even need to leave for them to be bad. CP3 is the reason that team even MADE the playoffs. Without him, it's a terrible team.

Read on the front page that KG to the Clippers this year won't make it through the league office.

On the flip side, Chris Paul has got to be stoked. He just traded Del Negro for Doc for a draft pick that he certainly doesn't care about.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

As I've said elsewhere, we should try to help facilitate a team like Houston clearing cap space.
