  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
I'm on board in a sense that he's a respected guy by the core. He's been around Rondo so he knows how to deal with him. If KG and Paul somehow stays here, they'll be comfortable as well.

Sure, why not.

I think there's a real good chance of this happening.

Let's be serious here. Can we.Scal will never be the head coach of the Cetlics.
Scal wasn't even a good player to begin with.

the owners don't want to pay big money for a coach while we're rebuilding, so id say there's a chance.

Being a good player has nothing to do with being a good coach. I can list you many more role players that turned out to be good coaches over star players that turned out being good.

One has NOTHING to do with the other. Scal has many of the things you look for in a coach.

Sure why not.  We're not trying to win guys.  Seems like the players will like him.  He'll be good with the youngins as we tank for the future.  Get wiggins and hire a real coach in a couple years.

Sign him up and let him get some on the job training so that he's ready when we are actually contenders again.

If the team is in tank mode for next season, a rookie coach is going to be the man for the job.

Why not tab a former Celt with ties to a championship? Scalabrine would be the 21st century version of M.L. Carr.
