Since Brian Shaw left the NBA for Italy rather than play in Boston, then signed a contract and STILL refused to play, should he be permanently banned from the franchise?

Boston should consider going all Jason Kidd and letting keyon dooling at least interview.

honestly that's who I want coaching this Celtics team I think Brian Shaw will be an excellent coach in the NBA he is who lit that fire under paul George and hopefully he can do the same for green.  Lets go Danny you screwed up the trade lets go get shaw and make up for it.

Yes, we should not hire him, ever.   He wanted to be out west and let him stay there.

Brian Shaw was drafted by the C's, refused to sign, went to Italy, then signed a contract, refused to play it, was sued by the franchise and ordered by a court to play for the Celtics, then traded to Orlando to be come part of Shaw/Shaq, then went to LA and won titles as a freakin' Laker.

I mean, why should this be the guy to coach?

A little before my time so I didn't know. What was his beef?

he was an ungrateful Celtic hating laker fan.

Hey I was rooting for the lakers at one point too. Should I be black balled forever for liking the celtics as my team. Side note I was more of a Kobe fan than a laker fan.
Yes, yes you should.

 :)

Only half way joking.

As for Shaw, I want nothing to do with him. He's a Laker. And he didn't want to play for Boston. Those two things make him unwanted to me. I don't care if it was 200 years ago, the man is dead to me.

Laker scum.
