Why I No Longer Hate LeBron

What did LeBron do?  He came out in that Game 6 and had the best game of his life.  He stepped up to the challenge and proved why he's an all-time great.  He didn't just live off his talent and the favorable refereeing.  He went to another level, and nobody could match him. 

Lebron didn't have the game of his life in game 6, unless you're taking about game 6 last season against us....he was a Ray Allen jump shot away from being a"choker"

Oh god.

So 18 points in the 4th/OT shooting better than 50% is choking.  And the three he hit before the one Ray hit doesn't count right?  Lets also blame a player for having another player on his team do his job and hit a three.  Like we did for Jordan or Kobe right?

LeBron is not a choker.  The final nail in the coffin of that was last night so hang it up.

First, the guy is a great talent. Best in the league, right now. But I don't like him. I think he is everything that is wrong with the new generation of basketball players. I can't stand his on the floor antics. The flopping and the whining to the refs. Especially his facial expressions after he gets a no call.

And don't get me started about ring chasing. He's that guy at the playgroung that wants to load the best 5 up on one team and run the court the whole night. Sickens me. And his refusal to enter the dunk contest. Even after he said he would. What a fraud!!!

I hate Kobe.

I'm not a James fan. From "The Decision" on he's done things that have turned me against him.

With that said, I have nothing but respect for both Kobe and LeBron for what they can and have done of the basketball court. Absolutely amazing talent. I hope the Cletics can get someone like that  before I die.

I respect LeBron a lot more than Kobe, honestly.

I think Kobe had the talent to be a much better player, but as Bill Simmons has said, Kobe chose himself over his team. 

Compare that to his contemporary, Tim Duncan, who arguably had not quite as many physical gifts and never played with a guy on the same level as Shaq but has been successful throughout his career and has never done anything but made his team better, because he always focused on what he could do to make his team better, not the other way around.


LeBron is both an all-time great superstar and an unselfish player.  That's one of the things that makes him so remarkable.

Yeah, I don't know how anybody can criticize LeBron's performance in Game 6 and not expect to be ridiculed or dismissed.

LeBron put on back to back historic performances in Game 6 and Game 7 of this series.  Up there with the best ever.
