Because CP3 (supposedly) wouldn't even sign an extension in 2011 when it was rumored he would be traded here, so I can't see why he would suddenly change his mind two years later.

CP3 bro. That's why Clippers came back to negotiate a deal.

Also, CP3 coming here pretty much guarantees another star (D12) coming here because we would have to trade almost everyone but Pierce and KG to get him which means enough cap space to get another star.

They need CP3 and will do next to anything to get him.

Send Rivers to the broadcast booth and Work something out with KG and Pierce to stay another year or retire.  Get all their money off the books and rebuild.

Just not seeing all the effort and willingness to work with these jerks.

Let it ride ...... see what else comes up .....why take the first deal and ask to be robbed.


Personally I think the Celtics are getting the shaft letting RIvers off the hook and settling for peanuts.  I'd work with KG and Paul and tell Glen to bug off..

I can't believe the Clips now don't want to give up anything for Doc.

From what it sounds like they want us to do is let Doc go, then later they'll give us Jordan and two picks for KG. But I would be worried that they would pull one over on us and not do the trade.

So If thats the case DA should just let Doc walk and not be able to coach for the next few years. The CP3 would walk and that would just leave  Griffen,Jordan and Bledsoe. Not really going to compete with that....

Although maybe its all a front so the Clips could tank and make a play for Wiggins.....

I think Danny Ainge and only Danny Ainge is behind this whole fiasco.  I suggest bringing everyone back, including Doc...and bringing in Larry Bird to be President/GM.  Bye bye Danny....thanks for #17, but like the refs, You are not the show.

Oh, Ty Ray on CLNS (he used to be a sports reporter in Denver) suggested George Karl to coach the Celtics.  Coach Karl is a pretty strict old school coach...if his health is holding up, that sounds pretty good to me, too.  (But will KG go to LA without Doc, and would he play for Karl if he stays?)   I think the team could hold together and accept the challenge IF Danny was gone.
