Josh Smith is simply an example (Al jefferson, Milsap and others are also possible). I'm nto a huge Josh Smith fan myself, but he has some merit.

I expect nothing more from Jordan than to be exactly that: a big, banging center who can get us 10/8 & 2 a night. He's just a piece at center. What if you back him up with a decent mid level vet center?

Sully is a question mark because of his health - which is why...I suggest we maybe go get a Josh Smith, Jefferson or other similar player - if not this year somehow then when we have cap in a year of two.

How about Milsap with Sully behind him? Jefferson with Sully behind him?

Some say Jefferson is a center, so trade Jordan's expiring next year, put Sully at PF.

How about we trade Rondo & Jordan to Atlanta for Horford and Teague? Rondo and Smith unite in Atlanta.

There are a million possibilities and like taxes have to be paid, we are going to have to rebuild....

or we could just stick our heads in the sand and hope KG and Pierce play another 10 years.

Fro clarity - I'd be perfectly fine with KG and pierce coming back for another year or two - love 'em.

But if it's rebuild time, let's get the ball rolling....

and if we're a 50+ loss team, we get a high lottery pick and make our next moves.

Danny started with Antoine Walker and Tony Battie.
He ended up with KG and Ray

Kg will retire, so will Pierce.

Boo Hoo.

Boston's only real trade assest is rondo..and we don't know what he can do coming off knee surgery

nobody wants brandon bass, jason terry....guys with bloated deals that add very little to a team

I realize KG and PP are on their way out...but I don't want the Cs being just good enough to be the 8 seed every year....i prefer being real bad going the lottery way...

Yes boston might have a high pick...but the clippers won't. those late round picks are pretty worthless
