I'm assuming this trade goes through is he ok with it and looking at it like the teams finally mine now? Is he upset and haven't talked to Doc/KG since the news broke?

I know he can't be too thrilled with "..Doc wants to go to LA to coach CP3"
"7ft PG. Rondo leaves and GUESS WHAT? We got a BIGGER point guard!"-Tommy on Olynyk

LIke the last man standing at the LITTLE BIG HORN

Maybe lost and  alone in a sea of misery and scrubs., playing for a bad " TANKING" coach,  losing games on purpose ,  games with no meaning for 1000 years.

AS he watchs CP3 get everything he wants or Rondo once had.....sounds like a Batman movie  ::)

Feel for Rondo.

Danny and Mitch could trade Rondo for Dwight and sink the Clipper Ship and their capt BLY DOc Rivers with one swoop.

doc called rondo the smartest player i've ever coached

if the deal is done he''ll be fine, suddenly we go to a tommy ball fast breaking team with lots of youth, should be fun to watch
sign a big shooting guard with range (reddick) and this team has promise, expect big years from green and sully, hopefully bradley hits his stride

have to assume paul is gone, hopefully to a contender
standing ovation for all 3 when they return

If  Danny pulls this off with Jordan and the picks and flips stuff for Smith in ATL, Rondo will not care as Smith is his best friend.

We will get younger but we will need to draft a shooter badly.

This is how i feel. If he can get his buddy Josh he'll be fine. I am sure Danny has let him know what is going on and what his plans are. This is the main reason why I think Danny will make the moves to not let us be a tanking team but add some guys that will actually make this a decent team. Rondo is the reason if you go out and play terrible and have a terrible team to show for it you run the risk of Rondo getting upset.

Yeah, I'm sure Rondo just sees this as his opportunity to prove himself without any of those other guys here.

Frankly I don't really care.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

I don't know, but if he isn't happy Danny will probably not hesitate to ship him out of town too.

One upside of doing the deal now rather than later is that we will learn about Rondo's maturity and ceiling as a team leader much faster than we would have if KG stuck around.

Opportunity it is!

If he stays a Celtic after the Celtics-Clippers trade, he gets to showcase of what he really is. It will be his team now. Let's wait and see what Rajon could do for this franchise post Big Three (part II) era.

Doc, KG and PP leaving and going to team up together in the West wouldn't really mean much to him since he will be like the kid from "Home Alone".

He's hurt

When perk was traded, he was so devastated, imagine what he feels now. But since he's stubborn, he will never admit that and will play with a chip one his shoulder. I just hope Danny is up to something BIG...I hope its not tanking

He's going to be in a tough spot.  The same fans who are salivating over a tank job will mercilessly be calling for Rondo's head if he can't lead us to the playoffs.

I would love nothing more than to see this team beat the tank next season.  That is what I'm now rooting for--whatever it takes to make the playoffs.  If that means playing against their own GM's wishes, then so be it.

DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

Rondo is a smart guy, he new this day would come. He has to have been expecting a major turn over was coming and now he is the face of this team. I expect he has been kept in the loop with the plans going forward and will likely be recruiting FAs next summer.

He feels abandoned.

My dream would be he takes us to 55W and wins MVP.

But I know this won't happen ;D so I prefer that he returns after All star break.
