That is terribly sad.  I also thought he was a bit older than 51.  Sad for his family and a loss to the entertainment world -- a pretty good actor who's had a few decent roles following the Sopranos.   
When people who are younger than me die suddenly the whole mortality thing does hit home.

If the dude had been born in Europe, where you can be a major star and still look like a regular person, he would have been an acting god over there.
