Who says no??

We MIGHT have to flip our #16 pick for Charlotte's #4 pick.

Thoughts??

P.S.  PP clearly gets bought out for the $5 million.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
They say no. Charlotte can amnesty Ty Thomas.

It'd be great if it went down though.

Not bad, but Thomas and Gordon are on long-ish deals that we'd be stuck with.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Most fans seemed psyched with the possibiliy of acquiring the #13 from the Mavs for Pierce...I think it's obvious to say that this would be even better.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
I don't know if Charlotte will be willing to do this.

BG is also an expiring and while Tyrus has been a disaster, I don't think they'll easily part ways with No.4.

I personally like the deal though. We can amnesty Tyrus, let Gordon's contract run out and have the #4, we're talking Alex Len, Victor Oladipo, Cody Zeller.

Yeah a lottery pick for Pierce is something you have to do.

So why does Charlotte do this? To get rid of Gordon? At the expense of a lottery pick?

We could include Bass to entice them.

Bass is a positive for a team like Charlotte?

Oh yes, they would not want a +11 Eff. Rated Playoff performer.

Charlotte wants talent far more than they need to dump salary as they showed in their willingness to take on Gordon's big money for a draft pick.

They wouldn't even think of doing this.

Not bad, but Thomas and Gordon are on long-ish deals that we'd be stuck with.

Ben Gordon is actually an expiring. I think there's some kind of option tied to his final year. Anyway, I would be for this deal.

Thomas has a mean style of play (kinda like Perk) which is exactly what we need.

Boston would have to include 16 and either Bradley or Sullinger and then it might happen.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner
