The fact that they just hired a coach eliminates the idea of Doc going to ATL but what about KG?

KG to ATL

for

L Williams, D Stevenson , Mike Scott and #17 + #18

If Im correct that would leave ATL with just Horford, KG and Jenkins on the books.

Giving them 30mill to spend on FA. Enough to sign and trade Smith and Teague for Paul. Then have cap left over to go after Iquodala.

Not a great return for the Celts but all three are team options after next season. If williams is healthy he is an asset that a team like Indy might love at the trade deadline.

I feel the likeliness that KG would waive his no trade clause to go play for the hawks is sorta low...

It's certainly possible, though it seems KG would rather play on the west coast.

Another idea could be possibly seeing if the Nuggets would be interested in something similar like what the Celts/Clips were discussing.

Maybe KG, Doc and possibly even Pierce for some combo of McGee, Gallinari, Chandler, etc.

Pierce and KG to the Lakers, DHoward sign and trade to ATL, JSmoove to Boston in sign and trade with picks going to Boston from LA and ATL.

Why wouldn't Howard be coming to Boston?  I wouldn't trade KG and Pierce to get Smith.  I don't care if picks are involved.  The fastest way for us to get back to the Finals is Howard, not Smith.

I can't see Atlanta being interested in Kevin Garnett.

Garnett is too old and the Hawks are too far away from the title.

I agree but if he gets Chris Paul in the door then they trade for him.

KG has a no trade contract.  Why would he agree to that?  The answer is he wouldn't...
