I don't see the urgency. Bring Back the Team. I like our chances with Rondo and Sully coming back. Make a few other moves and we are at least competing for the Eastern Conference finals. See if LA will take Doc for DJ. Now we have good defensive back up Center. Hire one of San Antonio's assistant coaches and we're good.

Well....at this point to be honest with you, with all the back and forth in this Clippers fiasco, I almost wouldn't mind if this happened.

As in (like you said), give Doc the boot and just send him to the Clippers for a draft pick.

Then, hire Brian Shaw (that's Brian Shaw, no Scalabrine, no Lawrence Frank, etc) to replace Doc and somehow try to land either Al Jefferson, Josh Smith or Paul Millsap.

Add that to the existing core of KG and Pierce and give it another go, I guess.

I think that too many bridges have been burnt, or at least ruined to a "what's the point?".
