Don't like it. I'd rather either run it back or trade pieces off slowly... risk KG retiring.

But it sounds like maybe Doc's forced the hand?

Everybody knows my CB Draft trading track record, and even I think this is horrible.

Add Bledsoe or hang up the phone.

Kg is done.  Doc is a poor coach, and we can always trade that ist and Caron.  Jordan would be a good center to work with or if doesnt work out trade.  I dont see the probelm if they give up Terry, but at this point Lee would be fine too.

According to Stein the new trade being discussed is

Doc, KG, Lee and/or Terry

for

Jordan, Butler, 1 first

This is a terrible deal.  Jordan, Bledsoe, Butler and 1 first, or Jordan, Butler, and 2 firsts.  They blink, walk away.

If we're rebuilding there's no point in dumping the Lee/Terry contracts. We should be going the other way, taking bad contracts from other teams for picks/prospects. ex: Pierce for #13 + Marion + Carter.

the more assets the better. butler is better than nothing.... hopefully we can flip butler later.

I'm looking but I don't see any assets.

The ONLY way I am marginally ok with this deal is if we can possibly do 2 sign and trades.

1 for Josh Smith and 1 for someone like Eric Gordon.

That would be the only reason Butler could be valuable. You trade PP to either Pelicans or Hawks and Butler and Lee/Terry to the other.

Doc is a poor coach? How long have you been watching basketball? Coaching is a lot more than X's and O's you manage personalities too. Just terrible that people actually think this way.
