And I hope he keeps it up. I don't want him to have another game 6 like he did last year vs Boston.
Peace through Tyranny

Meanwhile, Jordan never even let one of his Finals get to a game seven.

  • GOT IT!!!
Spurs are doing a great job on him like Dallas did that year. Hard to blame everything on LeBron though when he isn't getting much help like he did in last season's playoffs. All those threes aren't falling this time around.

Let's be fair, though... Seven times, MJ lost a series in the playoffs in his career.  It's not as if he never lost one.  It's probably in his legacy's favor that his failures came prior to making the NBA Finals in those 7 years.

They are different animals, apples and oranges.   He is not as mentally tough as Jordan.   But I do think he is a better all around player in terms of his overall ability.  He is a better athlete, rebounder and passer.  Where James lack is the will to win, grey matter when compared to MJ.   But few compare favorably to Jordan in that area.

Lebron is kind of unique player. He doesnt have MJ's ability to score, if he did Miami would be up in the series. He also doesnt have MJ's will to win. The thing that is interesting about Lebron is he has all of the tools, maybe even more then MJ, athletically to dominate this series. I keep asking myself though, why isn't he doing it?
