Ray Allen in Miami - No Way.

Pierce, KG & Doc in LA on a team not named the Lakers? Absolutely!!

KG, Pierce and Doc revitalized Celtics basketball. They gave us seasons, playoffs and memories we hadn't seen since the 80's.

I have no problem with them going on to a successful situation where they can compete at the highest level and stick it to the Lakers while doing it. Pierce gets to play his last few years in his hometown? What a great story.

We have to rebuild at some point. Jordan is only on book for a few years. It's a gamble but he might grow up in Boston and become a good, defensive anchor center for us.

Look, if you're building an uptempo team built around Rondo, you want a center that can get up and down the court. it "could" be a good fit. if not we trade him for another piece.

Cheer for KG and Pierce.

Boo Doc.

There's no return for Doc after he said all that stuff about being in it for the long-term. Then he compounds things by supposedly telling the Clips not to include Bledsoe.

It's lovely when an unsubstantiated Internet rumor is quoted for truthfulness.

Hey, by the way the deli guy who put together my lunch today said Stern's a buddy with his cousin. The deal is stalling because Stern said he's going to veto any transaction that wouldn't make the Clippers obnoxiously powerful next season.

Yes absolutely.  KG deserves another title.  He was the engine in our title runs and bad luck robbed him of at least 2 rings.  I hope Doc and Pierce get another ring too.

I probably won't follow the Clippers much until the playoffs.  Then they will be the team I pull for.

NOPE. I am a celtics fan not a young kid who jumps on the bandwagon of a new team when it is convenient. Sure I will wish KG the best and hope he does well but I am not a clippers fan. The lebron fans are pathetic because they are the same way. not enough guts to pick a team and stick with them so they just follow their him. I think it is pathetic.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

Yes.  The chance to root the Captain and KG on to another championship is the only reason I'm not vomiting about this deal.

Yes, I'd pull for them out west.

1. It would hurt the Lakers.
2. It would hurt the Lakers.
3. Paul could get another ring.
4. It would hurt the Lakers.
5. It would p--- off Kobe that the Lakers sucked.

I hate to say it, but I probably would root for them if they had KG and Pierce..we would finally get to see what Paul would have done with those 2...We know Danny wanted that to happen so badly a little while ago.

I love KG and PP and hope they do get a few more rings. I also hope one day, KG comes back to Boston in a coaching capacity.

Boston is team number 1 always, even if next year is a tank year but if the KG and PP reunite out west, they will be my seoond choice..after all, this whole situation is not of their doing and I do not blame Danny either...Father time is knocking loudly...

Whenever the Clippers would be playing the Heat, Knicks or the Lakers?  Sure.

Otherwise, no.

I don't wish ill on Doc, KG or Pierce (if all this came to pass).  But to heck with the Clippers.  They are not my team.

Edit:  Added Knicks to list of teams I hate and will root for any opponent of.

Why not? I don't know if it's a fact but it's been floated out there by decent sources. And I think it could definitely be possible.

If Doc wants to go to the Clippers, wouldn't he want to put himself in the best position to win? You could use the loyalty argument, but the NBA is a league full of hyper-competitive people that use every edge they can to win. Couldn't it be possible that Glenn floated out that Ainge will cave even without Bledsoe? There's probably not a lot of people who know Danny's "plan" better than Doc.
