George Karl was able to win 57 games last year without any star players, could he win 45-50 with the roster above?

I can't see completely tanking it next year for a 30% chance to land Parker or Wiggins in the 2014 draft...

We could possibly win 38-45 games in my opinion, but it'd depend on how well Karl is able to communicate with the players.

If anything I'd like to try to grab Josh Smith then, package Bledsoe and someone else, keep T-Will as our back up PG. Karl can still be able to train and tap the potential Smith has. Smith is a borderline superstar, who just needs a push forward.

I said in another thread that I would expect that roster to win around 35-41 games.

I would expect them to finish 8th-10th in the East.

So there chances at landing a top three pick with a record like that are what? 2-3%? Something like that. Short of tearing up that roster more or suffering a plague of injuries, I don't think you can realistically expect to land a top pick in the 2014 draft.

bottom line is this team isn't going to be a legit factor in the east for some time...unless they can go attract talent...don't see them being able to rebuild though the draft.

I think he's just not 7 feet, but he's comparable to other players

I think the max for that group, though is 40..I'd be surprised at 45. I think we'd have to be run as the Nuggets.

I also feel like someone's shot would be falling.
Jeff Green has a good shot.
Rondo's shot was improving.
And I think with Rondo back, AB gets to focus on his offense a lot more.

So I think the whole "we'll need a shooter" is a bit overblown. Will we need someone that's a full blown scorer? well I think that's over blown, too. We know Jeff can do it if need be. I think if this becomes Rondo's team for real (no Kg/PP) he'd pick up slack. Hello Jordan Crawford as well.

So...yea...40-45 is a good year...35-38 is more realistic to me

No way should he be a SF... He is undersized, but so are Kevin Love, JJ Hickson, Paul Milsap, Carl Landry, Glen Davis, etc. They seem to be doing pretty well..

That team would have a tough time scoring, and not enough floor spacing.

How many games they won would depend a lot on the bench because Bradly, Sullinger, and Jordan are guys who couldn't play more than 28-30 minutes a night.

Especially with a new coach, I'd say that group would win 25-30 games.

I don't think that's feasible given our lack of size. If we get some real bigs (Jason Thompson sized), we might try him out at SF but for now he'll have to play PF and at times, C.

You do understand Sully is 6'9'' and over 250 lbs, right?  In terms of his game he's actually closer to a center than a power forward.

Boris Diaw and Brandon Bass are closer to being SFs than Sullinger is.

You don't think he would struggle defensively at sf when he matches up against... lets say... every small forward in the league!? hahah, they would burn him eery time!
