After Green torched another three, thus giving the Spurs a nice lead.

Wow I failed, just woke up didn't realize the thread = [

Sorry mods, please move it.

Dude played well.

I think how C's management treated Ray Allen in his latter years with the C's was a big mistake.

This guy may not be what he once was but he was an integral part of our team's success and he could have still been that to a lesser degree.

I agree, and I really don't want to get into this debate, because he was still a big part of the championship.

The thing is I grew up watching him play and was enamored with him. Imagine my biggest surprise when we acquired him, and even though we treated him badly, Allen could've just been the bigger man and walk out. Didn't have to do all that to try to get back at us especially if he really was friends with everyone.

They treated him fine. He played more minutes than any of the big 3 the media pretty much pattd his  butt every day.

He was involved in trade rumors like rondo, kg and pierce (and perk) and then the celtics turned around and offered him double the money to stay.

I'm sure any athlete in the NBA would have loved to be treated like Ray Allen was with the Celtics.

He wasn't interested in "a lesser degree", he wanted a bigger role whether his play warranted it or not.

Don't believe that reaction had anything to do with records, just constant general frustration.

Really don't like how Ray Allen departed the C's but last night in that last 4-5mins was scary. Everytime they kicked it out to him I was hoping he'd miss but he was dropping each one like vintage, composed Ray. Couldn't help but respect that...

Yeah we offered him double the money, a nice contract with a NTC to boot it off.

Oh well Allen really did do his best last night, wish I could say the same for some players.  ::)
