Thought of this the other day. Who says no?

LAC trade: butler/Bledsoe/griffin/jordan/ 3 mil cash/ 2 1sts
Recieve: rivers/KG/Dwight/terry

LAL trade: Dwight
Receive: Blake griffin, 1st clippers

BOS trades:  KG, doc, pierce, JET
Recieve: Jordan/smith/butler

Atl trades: josh smith (s&t)
Recieve: Pierce (waive) Bledsoe, 3 mil cash, 1st clippers

Pierce signs with Clips for MLE. Clippers become top 5 nba team.

Boston gets an expiring, josh smith, you piece in Jordan.

Lakers don't lose Dwight for nothing and gain a pick.

Atl gets Bledsoe and a 1st for helping .

I can also see JET maybe ending up going to atl or another team and bass going to clippers to help dump more salary.

Certainly creative ;D

Only questions I would have is

1.) Would the math work?

2.) Can you include sign and trades in 4 team trades?

I thought a sign and trade can only be between two teams, but I could be wrong.

You can have s&t's involve more than two teams.  Portland was involved in the Courtney Lee trade, for example.

However, this trade doesn't work, because Pierce has to be waived before July 1st in order for his contract to not be guaranteed, and Smith can't be signed-and-traded until after July 1st.  Technically Atlanta could waive pierce and pay him $15mil, but why would they do that?

Atlanta would say no.  Not enough value for Smith.

The Antoine Walker s&t to Miami was a 5-teamer.
