Right now, spin moves, in and out dribble, followed by a head fake, crossover dribble, into a spin move, over a 6'10" guy,  the most difficult shot making in the paint I've ever seen.the fact that he's around six feet tall just make it all the more amazing. Lebron is maybe the top physical athlete we have ever seen and because of that he's better overall than Tony. But Parker is one of the most amazing basketball players at that size I've seen in some time. He is the best point guard this year in my opinion.

On a side note when Danny drafted Rondo, I remember him bringing up Parker specifically when talking about how Rondo could develop as a scorer shooting floaters in the paint with his quickness and Length. He has came along but you see the difference why Parker is a much better player overall that Rondo. So much more complete offensive weapon. IMO.

Let's see how much better than the 21/7/11 than Rondo averaged against this same Heat team last year before we start anointing Parker.  The guy's a point guard that gets double figures in assists once every 15 playoff games or so, I don't think "scorer" necessarily means "complete offensive player".

Rondo is awesome, that's for sure. But it's just that he's a no show on offense sometimes, is scared to shoot sometimes. It's really Rondo's lack of offensive consistency that gives Parker the edge for me.

Any other fans of Tony's game out there. I'm really pulling for the Spurs, and If they beat them It will be because of T.P. and I don't mean toilet paper.

Skilled? Duncan is far more skilled than Parker.

Respectfully disagree. Tim is one of the most skilled big men to ever do it. But does he have the skill to crossover twice throw a couple head fakes 360 spin and hit a floater all in the same possession.

Yeah, but can Parker do all the post moves that Tim has stashed up over the past few decades? Does he have the defensive skills of Timmy?

I guess we can't really compare. Each is deadly in his own field; can't judge a fish for its ability to climb trees.

Agreed. Timmy's the man as well. It really is a series of skills and fundamentals, versus a team with off the charts speed and athleticism I'm praying for the former to do it.

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
Offensively, I think Al Jefferson is.

I like Marcus Smart

Still LeBron, but man where is the mental toughness?

CB Draft might have just opened up a little bit more. If Spurs win I don't see how it can be like last year where LeBron automatically wins.

This. Just glad they're on the same team and using their individual tools to take out the cHeat

Rondo came close to breaking the consecutive game double digit assist streak last year. That's pretty consistent offensive play. Parker's more of a scorer than Rondo but that's the only facet of his game that he's more skilled at. And when was he afraid to shoot this year, or in last year's playoffs?

Ginobili is the real beast in critical games like tonight. He is unpredictible, hard to stop, scores very diffcult baskets.
