If we do end up getting Bledsoe, Jordan and a pick for KG and Doc,I see Bradley being moved with PP for an Eric Gordon.

Doesn't make sense to keep both Bradley and Bledsoe, both with be up for a pay raise after next year.

If Gordon gets a clean bill of health

PG: Rondo   / Bledsoe
SG: Gordon  / Lee
SF: Green   /#16 (Glen Rice Jr or Giannis) or UFA Pietrus?
PF: Sully  / Bass
 C: Jordan / Melo or #16(Dieng?)

What do you think of a roster like that?

I'm not extremely familiar with the...Pelicans (oh lawdy, I'll never get used to that stupid name).

Why would they do this? For the expiring and Bradley? With Bradley's defense and the big expiring, are we giving them too much? Keep in mind, this is a player who barely shoots .400...

New Orleans fans seem interested (some not so much, but in general):

I thought that this might be a deal we could do if the LAC deal goes through and then hopefully NO waives Pierce so he can join the Clippers (which could help convince them to give up Bledsoe).

If Gordon can stay healthy he would be the type of scoring SG that would be a great pairing with Rondo. I'm not sure whether that squad is tremendously competitive out of the gate, but with a few more tweaks it could be (especially with some luck in the draft and a good deal down the line for Bledsoe).

I'd love to get Eric Gordon for Pierce and Bradley. I'd throw in a 1st round pick from the Clips deal to get it done too.

It would be a good trade but I'd hate to throw Pierce on that team in his final days. If we're trading him, I hope DA finds potential destinations and allows Paul to choose where he thinks he has the best chance of winning. Maybe Houston or something. He deserves it

Well, when you chuck up a bunch of shots, of course you'll score a lot. He scores 1.22 points per shot, which is...horrible, especially for someone who is supposed to be a scorer. I think people put WAAAAAAAAY too much weight on points per game. Anyone can score 17 points when they shoot 14 times a game.

I think a better way to determine who we should target as a scoring guard is to use a formula I "created" to show the TRUE amount of points per shot in each player's favorite shooting zones:

z = Zone
zPPS = Zone Points Per Shot
x 2 or 3 = 2 for two-point shots, 3 for three-point shots

( zFGM/zFGA x 2 or 3 ) + ( [zFTA/zFGA] [FTM/FTA] ) = zPPS

It doesn't make sense to keep Bledsoe and Rondo.

Bledsoe will command too much money to be Rondo's backup + Bledsoe struggled to play alongside CP3 at the same time and it is unlikely he will be able to play SG alongside Rondo any better.

One of Bledsoe-Rondo would need to be traded if this deal goes through.

I think Bradley will be fine. He will continue to be experimented with as a starting SG. Whether he is able to prove himself there next season or not will be the determining factor in whether he is traded. Not the (possible) addition of Eric Bledsoe. I don't think Bledsoe and Bradley are competing with one another. Rondo and Bledsoe are.

If AB were to be included in a deal with PP for someone, I'd rather send them to Utah for Big Al.  we have enough 2 guards even though Gordon would be an upgrade (when healthy)

We aren't getting bledsoe.  Clippers want bledsoe so they can package him with Blake Griffin for Dwight Howard.

Well, the Clips are not getting Dwight Howard. The Lakers have repeatedly stated that there is no way they trade Dwight to the Clippers.

More likely, they want to trade Bledsoe for Afflialo or Granger.

Doubt it. Even if it did, why would we want DMC AND Jordan? Neither can play PF.

Also, just looked at Bradley...wow, his points per shot is even worse. MUCH worse. But, we knew he wasn't really a scorer. However, I think we should still try to net someone who is a more efficient scorer, like Gordon Hayward.

What do people think we could get Hayward for? I think Hayward and Jordan would REALLY benefit from playing with Rondo and Green.
